In this lecture, Tariq Ramadan reflects on Islam's compatibility with individual liberty and religious freedom. In particular, he challenges the traditionalist and salafi claim that human rights are contrary to Islam. Focus is also given on recent developments in the Muslim world and the obstacles and prospects that lie ahead.
