Interview with Prof James Piscatori & Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim

Jun 2, 2013 - Interview
The Arab Spring has given so much hope for a new beginning, for democracy and for liberty. The full events in the Middle East are yet to unfold and a complete analysis is yet to be done.

However LiberTV has managed to interview Prof James Piscatori, Head the School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University, UK, on the Arab spring and the process of democratization of Muslim countries, with references to events in Turkey, Bahrain, Syria, Iran and the larger geopolitics of the Middle East.

We later talked to Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim on current trends of democracy in Malaysia especially when juxtaposed with developments in the Arab world. The session was videotaped at the private library of Anwar Ibrahim.
